Wine & Champagne Profile

  • Henri Giraud, Esprit Nature, NV (375ml or 750ml) GRAPES - Pinot Noir, Chardonnay
    Light lemon gold color. The nose has touches of peach and pear, vanilla and spices against a background of lemon preserve, which gives it a certain freshness. Almonds, smoke, hazelnuts, spices and dried pears blossom on the palate. Amazing Champagne that captures the essence of Aÿ.
  • WHITE - NANCLARES "Dandelion" Albarino 2018 - Rias Baixas, Spain 
    Alberto Nanclares and his wife are making expressive, exciting wines from Albarino and other local grapes in Rias Baixas. This wine is from multiple sites in Cambados on granitic and sandy soils. The vines range in age from 30 to 60 years, a the wine is fermented with indigenous yeasts and raised in small tanks for close to a year. Compared to other Albarinos in this price range, we find Nanclares' style to be more acid driven and more exuberantly mineral.
  • WHITE - FRÉDÉRIC BROUCA "Champ Pentus" Blanc 2019 - Faugeres, France 
    Organically farmed Roussanne and Grenache Blanc cultivated on schist soils. Highly floral, candied quince and beeswax on the nose. Light to medium bodied but lush texture. Has a lovely fresh bitterness and apricot skin acidity. Lightly honeyed palate with a playful and airy finish. Certified Organic!
  • ROSÉ - BODEGAS MORAZA Rosé 2019 - Rioja, Spain 
    An organic Rioja producer fermented with indigenous yeast. Clean, crisp and delicate. A strong bouquet of wild strawberries and raspberries. Its soft and ripe with a touch of sweetness
  • RED - DOMAINE DES BACCHANTES Côte du Rhône 2018  - Rhone Valley, France 
    By one of the few if not only organic and minimal intervention focused co-op called vigneron des Estézargues, this blend of Syrah and Grenache boasts an impressive dark purple hue, bold, fruit-driven aromas and a full, rich mouthfeel. Flavors of ripe black cherries and plums finish long and mouthwatering, with velvety tannins.
  • RED - CELLAR COMUNICA "Fristyle" 2017 - Monstant, Spain
    Fristyle refers to the fact that this wine is made without added sulphur. Bright red wild strawberry fruit, nice firm core of stoniness and good freshness. Made of 100% Garnacha, expresses spicy red fruit flavours, a touch of sweetness and a youthful kick.
  • RED - BLACK ESTATE "Home" Pinot Noir 2018 - North Canterbury, New Zealand
    Compelling fresh and complex aromas of wild forest berry’s, wild rose petal, and humid earth. Silky mouth coating tannins that gradually melt to reveal rich berry fruits, red current, and spice. The balance gives a clear impression of the soft, fertile and highly mineralised sedimentary clay soils of the Home Vineyard. This is an unfiltered wine with small amounts of sediment. Please allow the bottle to stand and settle before pouring. Decanting will allow maximum expression of aroma and purity of fruit to emerge. Drink now to 2025
